1. Convenio de Cooperación Científica y Académica: Universidad de La Serena, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Universidad de Concepción, Universidad Católica del Norte (Antofagasta) and Universidad de Antofagasta. (Decreto de Rectoría No 2690 ,11/12/00, Universidad de La Serena).
2. Agreement of scientific cooperation between Universidad de La Serena and the Steklov Mathematical Institute-Moscow (Russian Academy of Sciences) (Decreto de Rectoría (Rectory Decree) No 723, 16/ 04/01, Universidad de La Serena). The objective of this agreement is to promote Scientific and Technological exchange as well as to facilitate thecooperation between academicians and researchers of the corresponding institutions, by promoting and developing common lines of research which may be useful to Russia and Chile.
